Lately, I'm …

• Just celebrated 38 years of marriage to my lovely bride, Lori.
• Just enjoyed a visit from daughter Ashley and her youngest, Solvej, who is just now two. Daughter Natalie and grandsons Bao and Rhody also stayed with us during Ashley and Solvej's visit. Quite the full house and happy Grandpa and Grandma.
• Picking up extra volunteer EMT shifts at North Douglas Fire & EMS in Drain; helpING cover for the men who went with the Oregon task force to fight the big fires in Los Angeles.
• Still volunteering with the Elkton Rural Fire Protection District.
• Getting in some pruning and other gardening on these recent sunny afternoons we've had.
